When It Feels Like Everything Is Falling Apart
What if what looks like chaos is actually a call to deeper trust?
Hey sis,
I’ll be honest — the world feels loud right now.
From whispers of World War 3 to the growing division inside the church, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. There’s tension in the headlines, confusion in our communities, and silence in some of the places we used to feel safe.
If your heart has been feeling heavy — not just personally but globally — I want you to know: you’re not alone.
And you’re not crazy for sensing that something spiritual is shaking.
But here’s what I want to offer you today, even as everything feels like it’s unraveling:
This is not the time to pull back.
This is not the time to get stuck in fear.
This is the time to trust God more than ever before.
Because trust isn’t just about your personal promises —
It’s about your posture in a world that’s losing its footing.
What’s Happening Out There Is Connected to What’s Happening In You
You might be asking:
“What do I do with all this chaos?”
“What’s the point of my obedience if the world is burning?”
Sis… your obedience is part of the resistance.
Your trust is part of the revival.
God is still speaking.
And the people of God are still being called to show up — bold, clear, faithful.
This week, I want you to look past the panic and into His presence.
Because the shaking isn’t just destruction — it’s divine alignment.
TAKEAWAYS for this week:
The world is shifting — and so are you.
You were born for this moment. That’s not hype. That’s scripture (see Esther 4:14). The same God who trusted Esther with an empire trusts you with your voice, your gifts, your community, and your call.Clarity will not come from the news — it comes from the Word.
Turn it off if you have to. Fast if you need to. But don’t let chaos become your counselor. The Word of God is still alive. Still sharp. Still lighting the path.Your gifts were never just for you.
There’s someone waiting on your obedience. The enemy would love for you to get so consumed by what’s going on in the world that you forget what God is trying to do through you.
ACTION STEPS:
🔲 Stay anchored.
Set boundaries around your media consumption this week. You’re not ignoring reality — you’re staying rooted in truth.
🔲 Use your voice.
If you’ve been feeling the urge to speak, write, create, pray, show up — do it. This is not the time to hide your light.
🔲 Pray boldly.
Don’t just pray for your household. Intercede for the nations. For unity in the church. For wisdom in leadership. For revival. Let your prayers be global.
🔲 Do the last thing God told you.
Don’t wait for “normal” to return. God moves in storms, too. Obedience now is more powerful than you realize.
SCRIPTURES TO MEDITATE ON:
John 16:33 – “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Hebrews 12:27 – “The removing of what can be shaken… so that what cannot be shaken may remain.”
Psalm 46:1–3 – “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…”
Isaiah 60:2 – “Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you.”
PRAYER:
Lord,
Help me not to be distracted by the noise of this world, but to stay anchored in Your Word. When fear rises, remind me of Your victory. When things look unstable, let me lean on what cannot be shaken — Your promises. I pray for the nations. For unity in the church. For wisdom in leadership. But most of all, I pray for the strength to be obedient even in the midst of uncertainty. Use me. Stretch me. Keep me rooted. In Jesus’ name, amen.
🎧 What I’m listening to in this season:
When the world feels loud, this is my war cry. A reminder that even when I don’t have the words — God is with me.
Journal Prompt:
“How is God inviting me to trust Him right now — not later, not when things make sense — but now?”
Final Thoughts:
I know the days feel heavy — and the weight of the world isn’t something we can just pray away. But we can pray through it. And that’s the difference between those who faint and those who stand. We don’t stand because we’re strong — we stand because we’re rooted.
You may not be able to fix the world, but you can respond to the world with faith. You can show up for your assignment. You can keep saying yes when it would be easier to check out. That obedience? That presence? That mustard-seed faith? It matters.
You are not powerless.
You are not crazy for feeling this deeply.
You are not late to the call of God on your life.
You are being refined, not rejected.
You are being positioned, not punished.
Let the shaking remind you what’s eternal.
Let the chaos push you closer to the Comforter.
Let this be the week you stop waiting for the perfect moment — and move with what God has already given you.
We’re in this together.
In the fire. In the fight. In the faith.
And I promise: you are not walking alone.
Love you deep,
Erika
